Marc-André Selosse Talks Fungi, Soils & Trees
Professor Marc-André Selosse explains how trees are deeply dependent on microbial life to fulfil most of their functions and why soil especially is a major reservoir of microbial partners impacting the life of trees.

He also discusses his fascination with mycorrhizae and his research into mycorrhizal symbioses.

In 2012 Marc-Andre was appointed Professor at the Museum of Natural History in Paris and has a great passion for teaching and research. Having produced over 100 outreach papers and a textbook on symbiosis, Marc-André says he is committed to the popularisation of science.
